Tuned another E36 M3 Track Car. This car already had: Shorty headers, Schrick Cams, 3.5″ MAF, 24lb injectors, M50 manifold, and the Conforti Cam Tune to go with the Upgraded Camshafts. The results of the tuning session are below. One major noticable change was the vanos shutoff point which was pushed above 6000 RPM. This is about as high as you can go safely. You can notice the move in the ‘dip’ from around 5500 to around 6100 rpm because of this.
Another notable change was the addition of a 3.5″ Silicone Intake boot which was added after run 7. This car originally still had the ASC traction control throttle body and factory intake boot. We replaced it at the dyno to see what the real world gains of a 3.5″ intake boot are over the traction control throttle body and this is the result!
As you can see the car picked up noticable power from 5k on!
